40+ Years of Experience and Knowledge!
As a family-owned and operated company, Die Co. is proud of its humble beginnings. The company was incorporated in 1963, in a small basement in Willowick, Ohio. At that time, our products
were precision tools and dies for high-speed punch presses. Since most of our tool and die business was coming from the metal stamping and spring steel fastener industry, it was a natural
progression to begin manufacturing these products ourselves. In 1968, we moved to our current location, and purchased our first fourslide machine. Since that time, we have produced millions
of quality fourslide stampings for our customers. We design and build our own tooling and gauging in-house. We now have over 45 fourslide machines, which allows us to meet our
customers' demands, as well as handle a wide range of products.
Through more than 40 years in business, we have grown to meet the increasing needs of the businesses we serve. We have expanded our plant several times, and currently operate in
approximately 55,000 sq. ft. of space. Because of our dedication to our customers, we have added the following equipment to our operation to help ensure our quality by doing operations
in-house where we have the necessary control:
- Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 Certified January 2002
- Heat Treat (austemper) added in 1984, 1985 and 1998
- 20,000 sq. ft. addition to Die Co. facilities in 1997
- Salt Spray Cabinet added in 1986
- Cad System (Auto Cad) added 1985
- Wire EDM added in 1985 & 1991
- Computerized office in 1981
- Phosphate line added in 1979
- Paint line added in 1977 & Automated line added in 1990
Today, we are a self-sufficient manufacturer. At Die Co., many of our manufacturing processes are completed in-house, from material selection to design and engineering, and manufacturing to
heat treating and finishing. We store our finished products on-site and ship them on time, all the time.
